Showing Your Support for My Campaign and Message.

I have never been a fan of asking for money. I have worked hard all my life to self fund my business ventures and passion projects. However, leading up to making the choice to enter this race I had a very good conversation with a well respected individual. He explained to me that donations to a political campaign are not about the money. Yes, campaigns cost money, and resources to win elections are not free. But the solicitation of donations is more about showing your belief in the person. If you are willing to donate to a candidate shows absolute proof that their message and plan resonate.​ The more people that contribute and the greater the amount, shows that you are able to reach a broad audience and that they believe in you.

For me, that was an entirely different angle for which I had never realized. It makes sense, and in turn it ties both the donor and candidate together, as a team working towards common goals. I can appreciate that, and feel that my position will be strengthened through donations from individual members of this community. Because it is precisely the citizens and homeowners of Troy who built this City, and I will proudly represent on Council.
